ありえへん!

janken – otherwise known as ‘scissors-paper-stone’ where we come from (or rock-scissors-paper in other english-speaking countries, although i think our version has a nicer ring. haha) – is really common in japan, and is used to determine many things, such as which group gets to present first, who is to receive that extra piece of candy, and so on.

the unbelievable thing is that there’s a World Janken Championships in Hawaii! which is ridiculous because isnt it all based on luck? it’s like having a competition to see who’s the luckiest person that day!
