my posting!

just a quick note that after the crazy hectic week which comprised 2 summer camps and lots of washing and cleaning, i've finally received news of my posting.

i've been placed in just one school this coming term with another guy, and we'll be working there everyday, mon to fri. this is less than most of the rest, as most have been placed in more than one school. that's usually the case too, but this school is a big one, so i guess they need 2 of us full time. i quite like the idea of this - so long as i dont hate the experience of working there, haha - as it makes things easier. i go to that one school every single day, and that's that. no need to worry about where i' m going today and where i'm going tomorrow, and i like the idea of having the opportunity to get to know the teachers and students a bit better too :)

this school seems quite near my place, and comprises both junior and senior high students. the junior high section only has 1st year students, while senior high students are actually previously from 3 different schools that were merged into one. i teach JH 1st year, and SH 2nd and 3rd year. the teachers whom i met today seem to have a really good standard of english, and while that's a good thing for them, i probably wont get much of a chance to use japanese! my japanese is actually DETERIORATING, and i'm in japan for goodness sakes. urgh.

but anyhow, looking forward to learning more about the place where i'll be working in till december this coming monday!
