suntory BOSS coffee

i love the milk coffee that i get in japan, cos it’s simply awesome. there are people who scoff at these “cheap” coffee that you can buy from convenience stores for about 147yen, but i know i will miss them wherever i go next, even though i dont drink that much.

japan has a lot of coffee chains – doutor, excelsior, st marco/choco cro, etc. and they all have good coffee that’s way cheaper than starbucks, which makes it fantastic cos i dont like starbucks.

but if you ever want bang for your buck, then it’s milk coffee that you turn to. my favourite brand is Mt Rainier coffee, which has gotten into trouble for having a logo extremely similar to starbucks’:

but anyway, apart from saying that milk coffee in japan is awesome and amazing, is the main point – suntory BOSS coffee, which has tommy lee jones as the face of their adverts AND has really good commercials.

the commercials might be very specific to japan, in the sense that many things might make sense only if you’re familiar with what goes on in this country. but look at it another way, and it can be said that you can learn all about japan just by watching these commercials :)
