japan can be a land of euphemisms when it comes to sex-related entertainment*.

for example, in the entertainment districts they often have "information booths" that provide free "night information":

there are also places where you can have a "room and shower", which all sounds very legal and normal until you see the larger sign at shop front.....

being a place with "DVD Preview and Mini Theatre", it's basically a place where you can get some self-satisfaction and clean up afterwards.

the question is, why would anyone rent porn when you can easily get it for free off the internet AND watch it at home so you can clean up in the comfort of your own room?

 

*: i say "can be", because at other times they can be very explicit! there's this shop in the (regular) shopping area of namba that has a HUGE sign declaring itself a "PORN SHOP".
