was in shikoku after christmas and over the new year, and it was really fun going on a road trip and exploring a more rural part of japan. roads and areas were pitch-black at night, with nothing but your headlights to light the way up narrow winding roads. we went up many mountains, visited a fair number of beaches, ate a certain amount of combini food, saw quite a few night-views of cities in shikoku and ate loads of yummy food (meals are cheaper over there too!)
