i’ve heard that postings have been decided and perhaps confirmed?
i wonder who is coming to replace those of us in Osaka who’re leaving.. among us, there’s 1 irish, 2 english, 2 south african, 1 australian, 1 jamaican, 4 american and of course me the singaporean, so it’ll be nice if we’ll get some people from these countries to replace us. i really like the good mix of nationalities that we have, cos you get to learn so much more; it’s a generalisation, but i’ve also realised that i get along with some better than others.
if you’re reading this and have gotten posted to Osaka-shi, do please drop me a line! i’d be really excited to find out who’s coming.
PS: Osaka-fu apparently isn’t hiring any new JETs to replace those who’re leaving, which is surprising. i wonder how many are heading back to their home countries this year. all of us in the city who’re leaving are getting replaced, although it’s because there’s only a measly 23 of us.

And I've enjoyed reading your blog for your interesting updates and the useful tips for the application.
Just got my posting and I am posted to Osaka Shi.
