so i’m up early, by my standards, on a sunday morning as we were meant to head to shiga prefecture to see this kite festival.. all up, showered, made up and just ready to go out, catch the bus, have breakfast at this awesome place called San Marco/ Choco Cro, get something for lunch and get on the train.
then what happens, is that we discover it’s likely to rain in Shiga, and that the festival will be postponed to next week in the case of rain..
so i now find myself at home, awake, early on a sunday morning with nowhere really to go despite the fact that i was quite looking forward to heading out somewhere today. it’s the rainy season in japan, or at least kansai, now and the weather has been crap lately, especially on weekends when it’s when i want to head out to get some air the most.
i just feel so damn cheated of my sunday.
