ok here's the continuation.. basically we went to this restaurant where you sit in large viking boats with water all around you, and in the water are fish that you can catch. it was about 800yen for a fishing rod, and you pay for whatever fish you catch. when you catch a fish, the staff will do a cheer of sorts for you, and cook the fish in whatever way you want it done.
so we did catch a fish - it was rather exciting - and we got it done as sashimi. the most cool part was this, when the fish came to our table. it was just like a scene from Japan Hour! wow. so cool. i dont have many qualms when it comes to food, so it was all good. apologies for the accent though.. i cant help it when i talk to angmohs :P

we also saw this really weird fish that was swimming upside down in the water! at times it was really upside down, and at other times it was swimming such that its mouth was up through the water - and it was like gulping for air above the surface of the water - and tail pointing downwards. it was SUPER weird! yet it refused to bite when we dangled the bait right above its mouth. it actually evaded our bait when we tried to put it into its mouth.. lol. one of us said that it was probably suffering from a blood clot in its brain or something.. haha
